MEGALIFT History
- 2020 In 2020, we continue to expand our crane range in the medium load segment: in January, the so-called "Werder crane" in a special green and white paint finish was put into service. This is an LTM 1060-3.1. This was immediately followed by the new LTM 1070-4.2. In the second half of the year, however, we not only invested in the latest technology. MEGALIFT trains young people as professional drivers.This year also a trainee as office management assistant starts her vocational training at MEGALIFT.
- 2019 This year is characterised by the expansion of the crane fleet in the small and medium load segment. A total of 5 new Liebherr cranes are put into service: 2 LTF 1045-4.1 cranes (so-called "fast runners"), 1 LTM 1060-3.1 crane, 1 LTM 1090-4.2 crane and 1 LTM 1230-5.1 crane (large jib, compact design)
- 2018 Continued growth! In February / March the crane fleet will be expanded by the fourth and fifth Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 in line with customer requirements. The GMK 4100-L will be integrated into the fleet as an additional crane manufacturer Manitowoc. Transport capacities are increased by the acquisition of two further 4-axle Nooteboom semi low-loaders and two 3-axle ES-GE semi-trailers.
- 2017 Three additional Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1, the most powerful crane in the 5-axle class, are commissioned. The LTM 1750-9.1, the largest crane, is replaced by the LTM 11200-9.1.
- 2016 The load range in the 200 tonne segment is considerably extended by the delivery of two Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1.
- 2015 The investments for the year 2015 will again be made in the 3- and 4-axle categories. The fleet will be expanded by one TEREX AC 100-4L and one LTM 1055-3.2 each.
- 2014 With the purchase of the Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 the TEREX AC 500-2 is replaced as the largest crane in the MEGALIFT fleet. A further TEREX AC 40 City and a Liebherr 1200-5.1 are put into operation.
- 2013 The fleet network is adapted to customer requirements and market needs. The performance gap in the upper load segment is closed with the acquisition of an LTM 1350-6.1. In addition, the Liebherr cranes LTM 1130-5.1 and LTM 1200-5.1 are put into operation.
- 2012 The capacity of the crane fleet is increased in the 3-axle and 4-axle range by the purchase of a Terex AC 40 City and TEREX AC 100-4L.
- 2011 The TEREX AC 500-2 is delivered and as a battleship forms the top of the signal red fleet of MEGALIFT GmbH.
- 2010 The restructuring process is continued. The crane fleet consists of two TEREX AC 200-1 and is expanded at its peak with the order of the AC 500-2.
- 2009 The cranes of the AC series are delivered. A further TEREX AC 200-1 is ordered.
- 2008 Bernd Preuße takes over the shares of the co-partner and becomes sole shareholder - managing director
- 2007 Addition of the TEREX AC 50-1 to the fleet in the 3-axle range; realignment of the strategic objectives by ordering the TEREX AC 80-2, TEREX AC 120, TEREX AC 200-1 cranes
- 2006 Rounding off in the lower load segment through the acquisition of the TEREX AC 35 series
- 2005 Fleet expansion with GROVE GMK 5100
- 2004 Purchase of the TEREX AC 40City - AC 60City - AC 200-1 series
- 2003 Expansion of the vehicle fleet GROVE GMK 3050 - GROVE GMK 4080: A DEMAG AC 435 was rented on a long-term basis for a special order.
